Building on the initial concept introduced in 2023, MLTECH has developed a new Liquid Metal Yaw Slip Ring designed for yaw systems in wind turbines and other continuous rotation applications requiring high current transmission.
This model features a defined structure with confirmed specifications, supporting 2000A / 1500VAC power transmission, low contact resistance (less than 0.1 micro ohm), and a through bore of 95mm.
The design minimizes heat generation and eliminates the need for external cooling, offering simplified integration and lower maintenance demands.
The slip ring has undergone internal validation testing to verify its performance and reliability under continuous rotational conditions.
It is suitable for applications in wind energy, heavy machinery, and other sectors where stable high-current transmission under rotation is essential.
